Moving Time Again
We're moving this weekend and I don't think it's going to be quite the hassle Diane thinks it will be. We've move most of our items to storage before the move, so with a little luck this will go off without a hitch. Packing should be simple and just a matter of boxing up what is in any cabinet etc.
The garage is going to be the worst of it all actually having to move some larger items like my vending machine and freezer. Other than that, it should be cake.

Closer to the endgame
Well we should be signing the contract on the house offer tonight. We finally got one however I'm not pleased with the results. I'm very disappointed in our realtor. This stage of the game appears to be over and we can start moving on to the endgame. The new house is 65 days out from completion and we should be getting our prime date soon. With a little luck it'll be before the 20th of December as that's when I get off FMLA with the baby but I'll just be happy when we're moved.

Airports
Travel truly sucks but why do airports look like they are stuck in the 70's? Just look at the chairs there. They are stylish from that 70's show or perhaps even earlier. Some "Space Race" look. Is it so hard to put in something comefortable? I've sat in plastic molded chairs that seem to be more comefortable.
On another note after 911 I just had to ask the question. So what prevents somone from stealing the knife from the resturant? I asked that recently to somone working at a resturant after noticing my knife and fork was plastic. She said that the FAA actually comes in and counts what they have DAILY and then provides a very limited set of things for them to use. They have like 1 knife for everything. I'm sure that's getting washed between cutting red meat and vegitables.... It's no wonder I get sick from airport food.
Here's another thought. All airports are non-smoking now. I cant even IMAGINE how bad these places must have been when smoking was allowed on all flights. It must have been the most disgusting thing around. I see people all jacked up on Starbucks in there waiting for a flight, give these people a pack of smokes and look out!

Why wont this stupid house sell?
Ok, so we've done everything but sell this for well under market value. We just cant seem to sell the place. Frustrations are high and we need our realtor to get our place sold. It just makes no sense whatsoever why we haven't had an offer on our house. We can only hope we get one soon. 73 days until closing, it's almost under 2 months now.

Habits away from home?
It's been far too long since I blogged anything and I just felt the perfect blogging moment come over me. When you just need to say something because it hits you like a brick.
In a hotel room 500 miles from home I prepare for bed and habitually turn the bathroom light on and close the door to offer myself a night light of sorts in order to find my way in an unfamiliar room at night. What is strange about this is that this has become all to accustom to me just as if I was to go to sleep at home with my wife. I certainly don't like this feeling of being in some sort of habit of this. Travel I look at as a necessity of my job, but I don't want this to become such a habit that it becomes that more comfortable feeling like being at home. I truly hate what even this every other month travel has done to me.
